Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Quality & Process Specialist LAC will be responsible for supporting project quality activities across Latin America & Caribbean, ensuring structured problem resolution, effective root cause analysis, document control, process standardization, and knowledge retention.

This position will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Fulfillment, After-Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Global Quality to ensure project issues are properly investigated, corrective actions are implemented, and organizational learning is captured and incorporated into company processes.

Additionally, the role will support the gradual development of the LAC Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 principles.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage project quality issues across LAC region, including customer complaints, NCRs, RCA, and CAPA activities.
  • Support field investigations and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain document control processes, ensuring proper management of procedures, templates, and technical documentation.
  • Capture lessons learned and promote process standardization across projects and departments.
  • Support the implementation of the LAC Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 principles.
  • Act as the quality focal point between Product Management, Fulfillment, After-Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Global Quality.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Process Management, Project Quality, Continuous Improvement, or related areas.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies:
    • RCA
    • 8D
    • CAPA
    • 5 Why
    • Ishikawa
    • FMEA (desirable)
    • Others
  • Experience with document control and process management.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience working in project-based environments, industrial equipment, renewable energy, manufacturing, or capital goods industries.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Availability to travel when necessary.
